Coins & bullion. Sovereigns, half sovereigns, commemorative coins, coin collections, and bullion. Strong international buyer demand in this category.

Antiques & fine art. Quality furniture, ceramics, silverware, paintings, and prints. We look for items with genuine market appeal, not general household clearance.

Vintage collectables & curios. Toys, militaria, advertising items, vintage fashion, musical instruments, and unusual items with collector interest.

How It Works

1. Get a free appraisal. Bring your items to us at 4 Market Hill, Clare, Suffolk, and we’ll give you an honest assessment of what they’re likely to achieve at auction. You can also email photographs to [email protected] and we’ll give you our opinion remotely. If you have larger items or a significant quantity, we can visit you at home within 20 miles of Clare for a fee of £60, which we'll refund if lots in excess of £1000 are consigned.

2. We agree on the sale. Once you’re happy to proceed, we’ll advise you on which upcoming auction is most suitable for your items. If you want to set a reserve price, we’ll discuss what’s realistic. You pay only the flat entry fee per lot.

3. We do the work. We photograph your items, write the catalogue descriptions, and market them to our buyer base. Your lots appear on our website and across online auction platforms, giving them exposure to buyers around the world.

4. Your items sell at auction. Whether it’s a live sale in our Clare saleroom or a timed online auction, we handle everything. You don’t need to be there.

5. You get paid. Payment is made by BACS, normally within 10 working days of the sale. You’ll receive a full itemised statement showing exactly what each lot achieved.

Not Local to Suffolk?

You don’t need to be nearby to sell with us. We regularly work with sellers from across the UK. If you’re not able to bring items to us in person, call us on 01787 827212 or email [email protected] and we’ll discuss the best way to get your items to us.

Handling an Estate

If you’re dealing with the belongings of someone who has passed away, we understand this can be a difficult and overwhelming time. We can help you work through what’s there, identify items of value, and sell them for the best price the market will pay. We’re straightforward and honest about what things are worth, and we’ll handle the whole process so you don’t have to.

We are experienced in working with executors and families and can accommodate your timeline. If the property is within 20 miles of Clare, we can visit to carry out an appraisal.
